Introduction

I train with the love and understanding of how animals learn, and apply the latest knowledge and effective techniques.

I use positive reinforcement to shape behavior and use a clicker and other markers. I believe in adjusting the training based on the dog and owner. Training an animal is like playing an instrument. When you enjoy it, the faster you learn, and the richer the connection and bond will be between you and your dog.

Just play, and you both will succeed.

About me

I am an extremely sensitive person, which might be why it is easy for me to connect with animals.
When I was 15, I got my first dog — a miniature schnauzer Ajky. She was an angel…. until she saw birds. I got a lot of advice on how to stop unwanted behavior, but it was 1999, and nobody in the Czech Republic knew much about positive reinforcement. Ajky quickly taught me that using force was not going to work. So, I tried a different approach. Practically anything else I could think of.

I surprised everyone when I won the local championship for obedience a year later!
I remember much more experienced competitors coming up to me to ask how I taught my dog to perform so well, and still have her look so happy and relaxed at the same time. Well, “she’s happy”, I simply replied.
The biggest challenge came years later with my Australian Kelpie. Although he wasn’t a pure working dog per se, he sure acted like one. I had to seek professional help for him.

Many years of searching for the best path to his heart paid off, and I learned so much from that journey. I have always loved training dogs, and my love and knowledge has grown so much since I started now (…years ago). And it all comes down to the relationship you create with them.

I’ve also worked with many reactive dogs, many of them mine — since I have quite a weak spot for more “troublesome” dogs. I enjoy fostering and rehabilitating reactive dogs and making management plans for clients. I’m also certified in the Bowen Technique for dog therapy (Martina and George Beranovi) and the Dorn Method for dogs (Andrea Dunova).

Beyond that, I’ve done quite a lot more, and have learned a lot — just because I love to.

I have had the privilege of learning from the best dog trainers in the industry, such as:
